Wednesday again

Well, It's the middle of the week again. I made it through yesterday at work no problem. I was a little worried about how I would feel with the double dose of medication that I am not used to yet pulsing through my veins. It was just fine. I think it actually helped because I felt somewhat like I wasnt really there! Ha! My manager wasnt there either so it was so much quieter than usual. Peace.

I have so much Christmas shopping to do that I am getting that little feeling that I better get on the move. I normally do quite a bit online but I cant seem to really find what I am looking for in my usual haunts.

Christmas Cactus

Its going to be Christmas before I know it isnt it? I did some thinking today while it was quiet and I am not ready!! EEEEK. Sadly I am not really feeling it this year. I am hoping that it will come to me eventually... the spirit that is.

I thought that the medicine I started taking 10 days ago was helping some but today I have lots of pain. I am hesitant to take a pain pill but it is getting a little too intense to take. I have to double my dose of the medication to see if it helps the pain or not. I am a little leary of that because of possible side effects. I am not someone who really takes medicine. Im tired of hurting though and my family doesnt really get it.

My little attempt at keeping a journal.

I am not very good at keeping a blog. I guess the real reason is I figure no one wants to really READ what I have to say.

Its Monday morning. We had a really great long weekend and got a lot done. Some Christmas shopping, some grocery shopping. I went to the new BJ's three times over the weekend. Once with David, once with David and his parents and again with David and the kids to get some groceries. Thanksgiving dinner over at Skip and Marie's house. Got to see the newest addition to our huge family. He is a beautiful baby. I think his name is Caleb but not sure on the spelling there. It was so busy and crazy with people that little detail never came up. He was born on Halloween.

We put up the tree last night. I still have to adjust the ornaments after the girls did all the hanging. We have a few bald spots this morning I see. I decided to go with the minimalist style of decorating this year. I didnt get any of the extra decorations down. I might later but right now I just dont really feel up to dragging it all down out of the attic and then back up again.

It really was a great weekend.
